Problem Statement

Families of children undergoing physical therapy often face challenges in tracking exercises, setting meaningful goals, and staying connected with therapists outside of in-person visits. Traditional methods like paper handouts or email lack interactivity, are easily lost, and don't foster consistent engagement.

Your Steps Health aims to solve these challenges by:

Digitally organizing and delivering personalized therapy plans to families.
Offering tools for goal setting, progress tracking, and communication in one place.
Empowering therapists with a streamlined web portal to manage patient care remotely.

Key Features

Mobile App for Families (iOS and Android): Families can access therapy plans, set and track progress toward goals, and message therapists directly from their phones. Exercises are easy to follow and supported by visuals or videos.
Therapist & Admin Web Portal: Therapists log in to manage patient prescriptions, monitor goal completion, and adjust plans as needed. They can also communicate securely with families and track progress over time.

Core Capabilities:

Goal Setting: Families can define therapy goals in collaboration with their therapist and mark progress as they go.
Exercise Library: Therapists assign exercises that families can view, complete, and check off in the app.
Progress Reporting: Visual feedback helps both families and therapists stay informed about milestones and improvements.
Messaging & Notifications: In-app messaging and push notifications help maintain timely, secure communication.
Plan Management: Therapists can adjust or prescribe new therapy plans directly from the web portal.
Telehealth (Optional): Voice and video functionality, using platforms like Twilio, can support remote check-ins and evaluations.
